College Budget

The college budget numbers surprised me. I expected the budget to have more money available per month for me to spend. I did not expect the budget to be so much money for all of the minor things that do not consist of school work. I am not sure if I am ready to take all of the responsibility of working so much, but I think I will be better prepared by my Senior year. I now know how much the colleges of my choice cost, and will be ready for the experience. This project will help me be ready for the expectations of the college, so I can be ready to face the challenge head on.

  1. I agree with how you said you'll be more prepared by senior year. Now that we did this project we can see how all the numbers will add up. Maybe by the end of this year or next you can have a job and start saving money so that you can have all of your priorities in check.

  2. This is true. I know that I will have to start working summers in order to build up money for college. This may be something you may want to consider because, as you said, there are tons of minor expenses.

  3. That surprised me to, not having a lot of spending money after you pay stuff off. In college you have to pay for every little thing and eventually stuff adds up and eats up all your money. I was like dang there is no spending money to go out to the movies or to eat. Your right about all the responsibility college comes with, I hope that i'm to take it on.

  4. This project was definitely an eye opener and I can honestly say it did help me. I knew college was expensive, and the thought of paying everything on your own is super stressful.
